AAD-6 ALARM ACCESS DEVICE

The AAD-6 Alarm Access Device
provides interfacing of two card readers,
six supervised inputs, and four outputs to provide access control at one door
with two readers or at two doors with an individual reader at each door.
All inputs and outputs are 100% user defined, such as doors and readers.
One panel can support different reader technologies, including; Proximity,
Infrared, and Barium

- Output voltage
for the readers is fused
- Separate high current
rectifier with fuse is provided for the strike control and/or powering active
sensor devices
- Output provided to
strikes and sensor devices as unregulated 2 amps with a DC voltage 1.5 volts,
less than the input voltage

communication port used to communicate with the SPP-2

or dual channel

communications modules installed

interchangeable to meet communication protocols

can be used for redundancy on both the RS-232 and the RS-485
modules
- The RS-485 module can
be used to extend communications cable to a maximum length of 4000 feet from the
SPP-2
