SPP-2 STANDALONE PROCESSOR PANEL
| |
The SPP-2 Stand Alone Processor Panel
provides real time control and processing for access control, alarm
reporting and remote control operation in the security environment
utilizing Dynamic Allocation. Dynamic Allocation allows for
instant reconfiguration at any time. Change and customize the operating
environment for the system on the fly according to your needs at that
moment. The board is designed to be ideal for the replacement or
upgrade of a system without requiring the change of existing sensor
devices.Specifications . . . |

- 2 high-speed serial
communication ports
- Port one as primary
Host communication port can be a single or dual channel to the Host
- Port two communicates
with AAD's, AMD's, MR-52’s and/or the OMD's
- Ports can be
configured for either RS-232 or RS-485 communication
- Can be configured as
either 2-wire or 4-wire with speeds from 2400 up to 38.4K baud
- Support for TCP/IP,
Fiber and Modem

COMMUNICATION
with SPP’s, AAD’s and AMD’s
- Communication modules
can be used on the SPP-2, AAD-6, and the AMD-12/32
- Modules easily
interchangeable to meet communication protocols
- Modules can operate as
either two (two-wire) half duplex or one (four-wire) full duplex port
- Two-wire configuration
can be used for redundancy on both RS-232 and RS-485 modules
- RS-485 module extends
communications cable to a max length of 8000 feet (2-4000 foot (1219 m) runs)
- Port programming is by
device configuration menu at the Host
- RS-485 module has
built in line terminators for installation convenience
- Dual Redundant
communication paths to the host and to the lower AAD’s, AMD’s, and
OMD’s.
